• What are the betting limits?

Florida law restricts the maximum bet in our live action games to $2 with a maximum of 3 raised per round.  In our tournaments, units are used so there is no limit to the betting.

• How do I get on a table?

In the card room, we have a counter where players put their name on a list to be seated at a table for live action games.  For tournaments, seat cards are paid for at the cashier window and we announce which tables are being used for the tournament. 

• Can I observe the games?

We do allow observation of the games, with certain restrictions.  Anyone in the card room may watch any table unless someone at the table objects.  In that case, we would either ask the person observing to step back or observe another table.

• Will beverage service be available?

We offer complimentary coffee, soda, and snacks to all of our poker players.

• Can I smoke in the card room?

In compliance with Florida law, The Derby Lane card room is non-smoking.

• Will you be holding tournaments?

We have multiple tournaments, Monday throughout Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m..  We run one main tournament with up to either 120 or 150 players and  multiple turbo tournaments with up to 50 players per day.  Entry into any of our tournaments is $45 with the exception of seven card stud which requires a $50 entry fee.
